Safety First
Following the instructions in the user guides can avoid damage to your products.
Some changes in pressure are to be expected when an AirProduct is left up for a long time; equally, even changes in room temperature can play a factor in this.
A manometer can help with this and assist you in measuring the pressure accurately.
AirTrack Grey Valve Checks
If your AirTrack is not holding a good pressure, the first step to check is that any grey valves are in the closed position, similar to the image below.
If you are noticing air escaping from the grey valve when it is in the closed position, it may be damaged. No need to panic, these can be easily replaced, and it takes next to no time at all.
Airtrack black valve checks
For large AirTracks, check that the seal within the black cap is in the correct position.
Replacement black caps, seals, and valves are available.
Replacing an AirTracks Black Valve
If the threading within the valve has been damaged, fortunately, it is possible to replace the valve.
This is a more complex repair, in which case, we would recommend getting in touch with a member of the team for tailored advice.
